Welcome 2011! We are excited for another year. There always seems to be something to make the years interesting. I went in to 2010 not knowing what would come and there was never a dull moment in our family. We had an exciting and quiet Christmas. JD and Rocco went out and picked out our first real christmas tree and adorned with decor. It was a little bottom heavy with decorations. Rocco was a fine decorator.

This was our first christmas with just us. It was great...even though we missed everyone and I was down on the couch. On Christmas Eve JonDavid brought Olive Garden home . We had a yummy dinner and we even turned the recliner up to the table so I could be in on the action. We read the christmas nativity with some photos, sang some carols, read the the night before christmas, rocco opened his new jammies, and lastly sprinkled reindeer food and left cookies for old st. nick. JD wrapped the gifts and I supported him on the couch. Rocco woke up at about 6:30 and he came and laid next to us and then went back to his bed. He shortly looked out his window and came back and said the reindeers ate the food! It was our cue to jump out of bed. He went down the stairs and was greeted by his puppy pillow pet. He said," I've been looking for this." Rocco was thrilled with his loot. workbench with powertools, thomas train track, action star war guys, puzzles, cash register, and 2 trucks! He was quiet all day with his entertainment. Christmas day consisted of breakfast casserole compliments to the chef JD,watching the christmas story fragments over and over, and pork tacos. JD and I kept our presents very minimal this year with all the craziness. He got me some perfume, along with our new laptop,vacuum,dryer....Everything in our house seemed to go at once. Truly my greatest gifts have been all my kind friends who have served our famiy and letting little sister stay put. We are blessed. Those are the true gifts of the season for me. I will always remember the christmas of 2010. I had lots and lots of time to think about the Savior and his life and not once step foot in a store. I don't think its an experience that happens to many but it has been a great blessing to focus on the true meaning of christmas and the amazing gift of life.

We rang in the new year. I slept from 9-11:45 and then tuned in for the final minutes. It was fairly uneventful. Here I sit week 35. All is well. Still on my medicine pump, little sister is still breech, and I think I come off next week at 36 weeks of my pump. So will I go into Labor on Friday, will I hold off a few weeks, or perhaps go until 41 weeks. Time will tell. As of now I will have a csection unless we try to turn her or she turns. But she has been in this position since week 25. Turning her manually makes me nervous...Here are some pics from the holiday season. JD had 10 days off so it was fun to be together and for Rocco to stay home too. Rocco and Dad have become quite the team and are learning lots from each other.

I'm so glad you (and the baby) are doing well. And I'm sure you'll get lots of time off the couch in the near future... (as you get up and down 10 times a night with a newborn.) Happy New Year!

What a fun Christmas! I didn't know that reindeer liked oates and sprinkles. I'll make sure to leave some out next year. I am so glad that everything is going well and that you are still pregnant!!

Wow that is fantastic that you have reached 35 weeks! That is amazing. I loved ordering from Carters.com for Sienna. I found a lot of cute 5-8 pound clothes if you are needing some more outfits for that little peanut. I hope you don't need a C section and that everything goes easily during your delivery.
